Fugro has secured two geotechnical investigation contracts from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) for the development of the Dutch Nederwiek wind farm sites II & III (noord). These contracts, integral to the Dutch Government’s Offshore Wind Energy Roadmap 2030/31, are pivotal in expediting offshore wind development in the Netherlands. The project entails collecting extensive seabed and subsurface Geo-data spanning a total area of 600 km2, laying the groundwork for informed decision-making and strategic planning in offshore wind infrastructure deployment.
