DHI has been involved as the leader of the Fehmarnbelt Environmental Monitoring and Consultancy (FEMO) consortium, for the Fehmarnbelt project. DHI provides reliable, accurate environmental data required for careful planning and construction of the belt. The tunnel will be completed in 2029, reducing travel time and promoting sustainable travel through the green corridor. With this project, ÆGIR data portal was created, it facilitates compliance with environmental obligations, promotes sustainable work practices, and transparently communicates monitoring results to authorities in the context of tunnel construction.
