The Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre (ČÚZK) maintained uninterrupted registration and information services during the Covid-19 pandemic. A systematic annual plan revised approximately 1.5% of cadastral areas to ensure technical accuracy. In parallel, digitisation and automation projects in spatial planning and construction continued, particularly through the nationwide Digital Technical Maps (DTM) initiative. ČÚZK created the legislative and technical framework to ensure a uniform national approach and manages the Digital Map Portal of Public Administration (DMVS), where DTMs, cadastral maps, and Orthophoto CR are made available along with open data services. These initiatives not only safeguarded public services during the pandemic but also advanced Czechia’s compliance with EU directives on open data and digital transformation.
