    Project Details

The collaboration between conservation organizations and technology firms employs geospatial technologies for wildlife preservation. Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) and the Wombat Foundation, in partnership with Subsurface Mapping Solutions (SMS) and C.R. Kennedy, used GPR to map the burrows of the critically endangered northern hairy-nosed wombat in Australia's Richard Underwood Nature Refuge. This effort, facilitated by advanced post-processing software, demonstrates a commitment to sustainable conservation practices and the protection of endangered species and their habitats.
