Source: USGS
The Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) mission, a collaborative effort between NASA, CNES, CSA, and the UK Space Agency, aims to revolutionize Earth's water resource monitoring. Focusing on Alaska, where 40% of the U.S. surface water resources are found, the SWOT will provide comprehensive data on water bodies, benefiting various stakeholders involved in water management, biodiversity, and transportation.
