The Government department of Taizhou city, Zhejiang Province, China engaged OceanAlpha to conduct real-time monitoring of a designated river section by implementing unmanned surface vehicles (USVs), equipped with total phosphorus analyzers, for water pollution management. Traditional monitoring methods faced challenges such as low sampling frequency and limited coverage. The deployment of USVs addressed these issues by providing real-time, comprehensive monitoring of water quality. This approach enhanced data accuracy, coverage, and efficiency, empowering environmental managers to make informed decisions to protect water resources effectively.
