    Project Details

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, facing challenges with fragmented incident management systems and aging infrastructure, started a project to modernize its operations and improve water incident management. They used GIS to manage incidents related to its water infrastructure, including tracking the location and status of assets such as pipes, pumps, and valves.

LADWP implemented Trimble eRespond®, integrating GIS technology with Oracle CC&B and SAP modules. This streamlined approach automated processes, improved response times, and ensured regulatory compliance. Field crews now navigate incidents efficiently, while customers benefit from faster resolutions. LADWP's innovative integration sets a new standard for water utility management.
