    Project Details

Thiba Dam, located approximately 130 km northeast of Nairobi, Kenya, was constructed to ensure a consistent year-round water supply for the country's agriculture. The dam stands at 40 meters tall and stretches 1 kilometer in length, creating a reservoir that will enable two harvests annually in the surrounding cultivable region. The dam was constructed and linked with the existing road network and the provision of facilities for water draw-off and floodwater drainage.
