    Project Details

Faced with operational challenges due to restricted drone flights during the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, a prominent agronomic research and development company has leveraged satellite monitoring to sustain its work in sustainable agriculture. The team, responsible for developing innovative crop hybrids and bio-stimulants, adopted EOSDA Crop Monitoring for effective field productivity analysis, impact evaluation of plant growth products, and field selection for trials across Ukraine. The platform’s advanced satellite imagery and historical data analysis capabilities enabled them to monitor crop health through vegetation indices and identify homogeneous areas suitable for testing. The team uses this data to measure the effects of their products on crop productivity, providing support to farmers implementing the latest sustainable techniques, even in across regions. This adoption has proven instrumental in advancing sustainable agriculture objectives and ensuring consistent monitoring of the impact of the company’s products on soil health and greenhouse gas reduction.
