    Project Details

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) led a program to assess and address the needs of food-insecure countries. For this, it utilized advanced geospatial technologies. Through data collection, analysis, and mapping, the initiative aimed to evaluate food security, agricultural production, and vulnerabilities to various shocks like conflicts and climate change. The goal was to provide timely information to decision-makers for developing targeted interventions and resilience strategies, ultimately enhancing the stability of food systems in vulnerable nations.
