    Project Details

In 2023, Low Altitude Ltd, based in Hampshire, UK, conducted a proof-of-concept project to monitor a large vineyard's acreage and individual plots using multispectral imagery captured by drones. The project aimed to define suitable vegetation indices for viticulture and demonstrate the utility of drone surveys in providing actionable intelligence to the Head Winemaker for faster decision-making and monthly vineyard oversight. By employing PIX4Dfields software for data processing, the project facilitated detailed vineyard management without the need for physical presence.
