Netze BW GmbH, the largest grid company in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, aimed to enhance electric service levels by harnessing satellite and AI remote sensing technology. Partnering with AiDash, Netze evaluated the effectiveness of IVMS at two locations with varying geographies to identify vegetation hazards along medium voltage overhead power lines. The project involved analyzing vegetation types, growth predictions, encroachment risks to power lines, and hazard tree identification within specified corridors.
