    In the pursuit of uncovering the mysteries of medieval history, the Norwegian Institute for Cultural Heritage (NIKU) conducted an innovative project at Sverresborg Castle in Trondheim, Norway, utilizing GNSS and GIS technology. With Septentrio's high-precision GNSS/GPS receivers, NIKU accurately recorded the locations of medieval artifacts, confirming historical legends and offering insights into medieval life.
