Source: World Bank
The study "Natural Hazards Risk Assessment in Communities along Dili-Ainaro and Linked Road Corridors" was part of the World Bank-supported initiative to enhance disaster resilience in Timor-Leste. It focused on assessing hazard risks in 49 Sucos along the Dili-Ainaro road corridors, essential for implementing the Suco Community-Based Disaster Risk Management program. This initiative was a component of a broader project covering Ainaro, Aileu, Ermera, and Manufahi Districts, aimed at conducting hazard assessments, strengthening institutional capacity, and developing Community-Based Disaster Risk Management plans and projects.
