TruePoint Laser Scanning was tasked with revisiting an industrial facility to capture additional data for the siting of new equipment. The objective was to provide precise measurements of structural elements and machinery to facilitate seamless integration of new installations. TruePoint utilized detailed laser scanning of specific areas within the facility. This follow-up scanning was meticulously aligned with data from a previous mobilization, ensuring continuity and accuracy. The focus was on capturing the structural steel, stairs, floors, walls, pumps, tanks, and conveyor belts relevant to the client’s upgrade plans. Through close collaboration between TruePoint’s CAD technicians, field technicians, and the client’s modeling team, an accurate and comprehensive set of data was produced.
