    Project Details

Water management is becoming increasingly complex due to aging infrastructure, rising demand, and environmental pressures. EMALSA, the water utility company of Las Palmas, recognized the urgent need for a proactive, efficient, and sustainable approach to manage its extensive network. In collaboration with Gestagua, EMALSA implemented the ArcGIS Utility Network, a cutting-edge solution designed to unify processes, people, and data.

This initiative enabled EMALSA to develop a comprehensive digital twin of its water infrastructure, incorporating detailed models of meters, valves, treatment plants, and desalination facilities. The solution offered operators a centralized platform to monitor, analyze, and manage every component of the water supply network in real time. With dynamic visualization and actionable insights, EMALSA can now prevent outages, address contamination risks promptly, and ensure sustainable water management.
