The Guangdong province in China aimed to improve water quality monitoring. Through the integration of Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs) and UAVs, environmental authorities and technology providers partnered to address the challenges of limited manpower and vast geographic coverage. By leveraging remote sensing capabilities and real-time monitoring, this innovative approach enhanced efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness in detecting and responding to water pollution incidents along the Lianjiang river.
