    In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Villanova University’s Department of Geography and the Environment transformed its outdoor environmental geology class into a virtual format. Faced with limited time and expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), they required a solution to smoothly transition the curriculum online and sustain engagement with the students.
