    Project Details

Initiated by NatureScot in collaboration with JBA Consulting and Storm, the project began as an effort to locate beaver burrows in Scotland's rivers. Evolving from a government innovation program, it now aims to commercialize a solution for habitat assessment and infrastructure management. Utilizing geospatial technologies such as RPAS, LiDAR, and photogrammetry, the project conducts comprehensive surveys above and below water to create a detailed understanding of river ecosystems. By integrating data processing and analysis, RiverEye facilitates informed decision-making for habitat conservation and infrastructure risk assessment.
