GlobalTrust Ltd and the Satellite Applications Catapult, alongside Airbus Defence and Space, collaborated to deploy satellite imaging and geospatial analysis in monitoring and analyzing flood-ravaged areas. With a focus on Governor Valadares, Ipatinga, and Patos de Minas, the project aimed to provide early detection, accurate assessment, and informed response to the unfolding crisis. Through innovative utilization of Pléiades and SPOT satellites, coupled with advanced data analysis software, this endeavor sought to enhance disaster resilience, optimize resource allocation, and pave the path towards a more resilient future for flood-prone regions of Brazil.
