TruePoint was tasked with laser scanning the interior of a sprawling 12-acre manufacturing and storage facility composed of interconnected pre-engineered buildings. The client, lacking current as-built plans, faced challenges in optimizing their facility layout and integrating new, efficient manufacturing equipment. The facility's intricate structure and extensive modifications over time complicated the task of documenting the space using traditional methods. The laser scanning technology enabled the scanning of the entire site with high precision and efficiency, creating a comprehensive point cloud that accurately represented the complex interior layout.
