To enhance maintenance accuracy and effectiveness, the project aimed to establish technical guidelines for employing drones in patrolling and monitoring Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission lines, including those at 765 kV, 440 kV, 220 kV, and 132 kV. The objective is to leverage drones for improved inspection and maintenance practices, thereby boosting productivity and security in evaluating challenging areas through thermal and visual inspections.
