Before the scheduled controlled implosion of the Brayton Point Power Plant's cooling towers, CivilView undertook the task of creating an up-to-date site plan to aid in the demolition process. By utilizing a handmade fixed-wing drone equipped with Pixhawk hardware and DJI Phantom 4 Pro, the team conducted comprehensive aerial surveys of the site. With a focus on efficiency and accuracy, the project aimed to deliver detailed outputs including high-resolution images and orthomosaics within a short timeframe.
