Dubai Electric and Water Authority (DEWA) embarked on a digital transformation journey to modernize its operations, focusing on enhancing data exchange with contractors and consultants. The Marafeq initiative aimed to digitally transform the drawing management process, leveraging Esri's ArcGIS and Schneider Electric's ArcFM. An all-inclusive framework was created for managing project drawings, from design through execution to as-built validation. Integrated apps were developed to automate submission processes, provide accurate basemaps, and validate drawing compliance, streamlining workflows and improving data quality.
