    Project Details

The Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, in partnership with the World Bank and local institutions, is spearheading a comprehensive digital transformation of land administration services in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project modernises the sector by digitising cadastral and land registry data, establishing spatial data registers, and ensuring interoperability through data standards and metadata frameworks. By the end of 2021, more than 2 million land registry folios were digitised, with over 57% harmonised through new cadastral surveys, a major increase from the 30% baseline. The establishment of the Real Estate Cadastre Database (RECDB) now covers 72% of the Federation, while the Sales Price Register (SPR) provides transparent access to nearly 65,000 real estate transaction records. These services are available online, enabling access accurate and authoritative cadastral, registry, and property value data seamlessly.
