    Project Details

The Danish Geodata Agency (DGA) rapidly transitioned to a fully digital workflow during Covid-19, ensuring continuity of cadastral services despite employees working from home. Within a single day, all staff were equipped with secure home IT workstations, supported by an existing robust digital infrastructure. Property registration and formation management processes were already digitised, enabling cadastral cases and datasets to be exchanged electronically between DGA, municipalities, and land surveyors. Virtual meetings ensured collaboration and knowledge-sharing, maintaining operational efficiency. As a result, the average case processing time dropped from 101 days (Jan 2020) to 37 days (Jan 2021), and backlog cases were significantly reduced, benefiting citizens, companies, and society at large.
