    Project Details

Initiated by Ana Jantoš, a GIS student at the University of Science in Zagreb, the project focused on modernizing vineyard management through the development of an interactive, spatially mapped database. Designed for a 0.5-hectare vineyard containing over 2,000 vines, the initiative aimed to improve inventory management, health monitoring, and data-informed decision-making. The project involved mapping individual vines and linking them to key attributes such as species, planting year, health status, and maintenance history. Additional spatial layers were created to identify potential planting zones and integrate cadastral information for more effective land management. By centralizing this information in a single, accessible platform, the project enhanced data organization, streamlined vineyard operations, and supported long-term planning through the analysis of spatial patterns and production trends.
