La Orizont undertook a LiDAR-based inspection of a telecommunications tower for a partner organization to generate a highly accurate digital twin. The digital twin served as a comprehensive 3D model of the structure, allowing for several critical analyses. The digital twin enabled precise modelling of the tower's equipment, formed the foundation for Building Information Modelling (BIM), enhancing planning and operational efficiency for the telecommunications asset.

Through a single 20-minute flight using the YellowScan Mapper+, La Orizont captured a dense and accurate point cloud of the tower. The combination of advanced equipment and efficient processing tools allowed the project to be completed within one working day, showcasing the power of LiDAR technology for rapid and high-quality inspections.
