In order to boost the economy of Mesaieed, an industrial city in Qatar, the country set out to build an effective multimodal road network. They gave us the task of employing satellite technology to conduct an extensive survey and mapping of the area. A new transport master plan was urgently needed because Mesaieed, the largest industrial city closest to Doha, the national capital, and Qatar are hosting the FIFA World Cup in the coming years.
