    Project Details

To assess ground deformation following the eruption in La Palma, an Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) study was conducted utilizing ENVI SARscape and Sentinel-1 data from both ascending and descending passes. A comprehensive understanding of surface movement is achieved by integrating satellite collections from both ascending and descending orbits, irrespective of the satellite's direction relative to the Earth's surface. With support from NV5 Geospatial and Esri España, sarmap S.A. and the Instituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) collaborated on this InSAR study.
