    Project Details

Top Geocart, in partnership with Leica Geosystems, laser scanned Romania's Meziad Cave, a 6,298-meter natural wonder in the western Carpathians. As the country's first tourist-adapted cave, Meziad is renowned for its spectacular subterranean landscapes featuring exquisite speleothems. Additionally, it harbors one of South-East Europe's largest bat colonies and unique microscopic organisms. This initiative aims to preserve and explore Romania's rich speleological heritage for future generations.
