    Project Details

TruePoint undertook the significant task of 3D laser scanning a sprawling 40-acre specialty chemical plant in Western Kentucky. This facility, built in 1955, produces essential chemicals for diverse industrial and personal care applications and serves over 100 countries worldwide. The client required detailed documentation of the plant’s current condition, including its 20 buildings, tank farms, cooling towers, water treatment facilities, hazardous waste generators, refineries, retainage areas, processing towers, platforms, and extensive railroad tracks. The objective was to generate precise isometric drawings for future maintenance and plant modifications.
