    Project Details

Built in 1885, the historic county courthouse encompassed official offices, county departments, an attic with a bell tower, and a courtroom, retaining many original interior elements. TruePoint was hired to perform an intensity map point cloud of the entire interior, aiming to capture detailed architectural elements such as floors, walls, ceilings, windows, doors, stairs, and vaults. This reality capture was essential for accurately documenting the existing conditions of the approximately 32,000 square foot building spread across four levels. The project aimed to restore and preserve the original design elements, including modifications like opening ceilings between multiple levels.
