    Project Details

The project involved capturing and modelling the exterior architectural and dimensional details of a historic church in New York City. The church features various door and window openings, multiple roof levels, and a bell tower. Given its proximity to adjacent buildings and its location across from Central Park, capturing accurate data required careful planning and execution. TruePoint Laser Scanning conducted a series of scans from the sidewalk and across the street to minimize interference from foot traffic. The result was a comprehensive 3D model and 2D elevations that detailed every architectural feature of the church's exterior.
