The Longhua Guangsheng Aobao Wind Farm, located in Chengde, Hebei, China, spans a challenging 150-square-kilometer area characterized by hilly, steep terrain with slopes of up to 28 degrees. TBEA Xi’an Electric Design was entrusted with the planning of a floating wind turbine array arranged in a ring formation, along with the construction of roadways linking the wind farm to a nearby substation. The project aimed to generate 50 megawatts with an output of 117 million kilowatt hours within a 15-month construction timeframe.
