Austin Water's Transition to Utility Network Management for Operational Readiness

The Austin Water Geometric Network data model had been in use since around 2002, predating ArcGIS for Water (AG4W). Austin Water expressed the desire to align more closely with Esri’s current standard industry solutions, specifically with the recently released ArcGIS Utility Network Management Extension. Austin Water's GIS Services division chose Axim Geospatial to evaluate the organization's preparedness, overhaul its geospatial data model, create an implementation schedule, and assist with the initial migration implementation.
