    Project Details

For the purpose of monitoring the locations of utility assets in their storm, water, and sewer networks, the City of Gonzales (Monterey County, CA) was depending on paper maps. This approach to asset location and maintenance operation scheduling was laborious and ineffective. Although the City had digital computer-aided design (CAD) drawings of its networks, field employees could not access or use them outside of the office. The City desired faster access to information from their utility network so they could view it more effectively both in the office and on the job.
