The Altoona Police Department collaborated with CompStat for the management of departmental records, encountering challenges due to limited functionalities which led to delays in reporting, analytics, and a lack of spatial context in their data. This limitation hindered effective decision-making and operational efficiency. To address these challenges, the Department transitioned to ArcGIS Insights, enabling enhanced data-driven decision-making, strategic planning, and more effective resource allocation through the integration of spatial analytics.
