    Project Details

In September 2014, Leading Edge Geomatics (LEG), in partnership with Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) and the Applied Geomatics Research Group (AGRG), installed the Airborne Hydrography AB (AHAB) Chiroptera II system on the Beechcraft King Air 90C aircraft. This marked LEG's inaugural use of a topobathymetric system for point cloud acquisition. Leveraging its expertise in topographic LiDAR and aerial photography, LEG aims to pioneer new markets and research opportunities in shallow water environments. This initiative signifies LEG's commitment to innovation and leadership in near shore environmental monitoring.
