    Project Details

    James R. Loumiet & Associates (JRLA) leveraged cutting-edge technology to reconstruct a recent train accident involving a loose freight car colliding with a commuter train in Boston. Tasked by Massachusetts Bay Commuter Rail (MBCR) to analyze the failure of the derail device, JRLA investigated why the car bypassed the derail and how the device ended up in the OFF position post-accident.
