Pestech International Berhad, a leader in power transmission and products, was awarded a significant contract by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) to expand substations at Olak Lempit in Banting, Malaysia. This project aimed to meet the growing power demands of the area by upgrading the existing 500-kilovolt substation to a 2-by-500 kilovolt-diameter substation. Challenges included site access, coordination with other contractors, and the need for a high-quality design within a tight timeline and budget.
