    Project Details

As part of Romania’s strategic National Cadastre and Land Registry Program (PNCCF), the National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI) implemented a landmark national-scale mapping project through its National Mapping Centre. Covering 320 administrative-territorial units (UATs) in urban areas, the project produced high-resolution true-orthophoto plans using a combination of UltraCam 4.1 oblique photogrammetric cameras for the capital city Bucharest and UltraCam Eagle Mark / UltraCam Lp nadir cameras for other localities. The resulting orthophotos not only deliver precise visualisation of buildings and parcels but also support systematic and sporadic property registration, quality verification, and the integration of modern geospatial data into urban planning and energy management. The innovative use of oblique images significantly enhances visibility of building facades and roofs, ensuring comprehensive, accurate cadastre documentation.
