Stantec undertook a significant upgrade project at a coal-burning power plant in Saskatchewan, Canada. The objective was to generate an accurate 3D as-built model of the plant's existing infrastructure, focusing on the piping, tanks, and structural steel components. This upgrade was essential for optimizing the plant's operation and planning future modifications. Stantec conducted a thorough two-week scanning process across the plant's fourteen floors.
