    Project Details

Fugro conducted an extensive geophysical, geotechnical, and environmental site investigation for RWE Renewables’ Dogger Bank South (DBS) offshore wind farm and its associated export cable routes. The DBS (Dogger Bank South) Offshore Wind Farms are developed by RWE and Masdar in the shallow waters of the North Sea's Dogger Bank, situated more than 100km off the northeast coast of England. Situated in the North Sea off the east coast of Yorkshire, England, DBS aims to generate renewable electricity for up to 3.4 million UK homes annually. The project entailed surveys spanning approximately 1,000 km², including over 100 km of proposed export cable routes, encompassing a total of more than 20,000 km of survey lines.
