Drone Visual was tasked with inspecting the facades of a tall building in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to identify signs of wear and structural issues. The goal was to achieve a comprehensive analysis with a fast turnaround time. Using a drone equipped with a high-resolution camera, the team captured 504 images covering a total area of 2,500 square meters. The imagery was processed using PIX4Dinspect to generate a detailed 3D model, which facilitated the identification of various faults, including paint wear, maintenance requirements for air conditioning units, loose cables, and wall cracks.
