TruePoint 3D laser scanned SoFi Stadium for The Famous Group to create an immersive mixed-reality experience for the Super Bowl. The stadium, encompassing 3.1 million square feet with 70,240 seats expandable to 100,240, features unique designs to withstand seismic activity and includes a massive Infinity Screen by Samsung. Over two days, TruePoint's project manager used the RTC360 laser scanner to capture detailed as-built conditions of the stadium, documenting everything from the field to the luxury suites. The deliverables included a colorized point cloud and a Revit 2021 LOD 200 3D model, enabling the creation of an augmented reality experience.
