    Project Details

TruePoint was commissioned to provide 3D laser scanning services for a museum undergoing expansion to include a new greenhouse. The client required accurate and swift capture of the as-built conditions of the historic building’s East and West façades, including the parapet walls. Leveraging TruePoint’s advanced laser scanning technology, the team efficiently captured the intricate details of the historic structures in just one day on site. The data collection was conducted entirely from ground level, eliminating the need for costly lift rentals and ensuring a safe working environment. The captured data was processed into intensity map point cloud files and aligned with the existing 2D structural drawings, enabling the client to immediately begin the design phase of the greenhouse addition.
