    Project Details

TruePoint was tasked with a unique and sensitive project, that is the scanning of three 100-year-old trees as part of a design plan for a new development. This was the second phase of laser scanning for this client, aimed at preserving the natural heritage while accommodating modern urban development. The project involved capturing not just the trees but also their surrounding area to ensure they could be accurately included in the overall design model. The resulting data provided a comprehensive digital record that was delivered in the form of intensity map point cloud files and 3D mesh models, which could be seamlessly integrated into existing Revit or AutoCAD models.
