    Project Details

TruePoint was commissioned to create comprehensive as-built documentation for a Vapor Recovery Unit (VRU) at a fuel terminal. This task involved capturing detailed measurements of tanks, piping systems, and secondary containment areas. The VRU, being an integral part of the fuel terminal, needed precise mapping to facilitate future modifications and ensure operational efficiency. The client intended to use this data for clash detection and prefabrication, streamlining the process for planned enhancements. Utilizing state-of-the-art 3D laser scanning technology, TruePoint was able to document the complex and interconnected features of the VRU accurately and efficiently.
