TruePoint provided comprehensive 3D laser scanning services for a 400-foot interior tunnel and adjacent digester tank pumps and piping at a wastewater treatment plant in Columbus, Ohio. The objective was to capture all structural features, including walls, floors, ceilings, columns, beams, and the footprint of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment. The project required documenting piping as small as ½ inch in diameter. By utilizing advanced laser scanning technology, TruePoint was able to gather detailed as-built data quickly and accurately, enabling precise future planning and modifications for the facility.
